What is different about this equipment
A defense order asks more of the cord, the breaker, the build and the paperwork than an office order does. We build to all four.
- The cord meets oil and water. The Z Series power cord is an oil and water resistant heavy duty type, which is a cord specification rather than an enclosure rating.
- Both sides of the line are protected. The Z Series circuit breaker is dual pole, interrupting both conductors simultaneously rather than one.
- The unit is built to a drawing, not chosen from a catalog. Outlet count, spacing, cord length, plug type and housing are specified per order.
- Origin is documented. Buy American Act compliant construction, manufactured in Hamilton Township, New Jersey.
What we publish
The Z Series is rated at 1000 joules with EMI/RFI filtering at 80 dB, and ETL listed to UL 1449. Rack distribution is 19 inch 1U, ETL listed to UL 1363 and UL 60950, with outlets at the front, the rear, or both. Industrial Grade units are ETL listed to UL 1363 at 15 and 20 amps in housings to 72 inches.
