Compliance and listings

Compliance: BAA

Typical applications

The GFCI version is specified where a rack or cabinet needs ground fault protection at the plug rather than at the branch circuit: test benches, portable and field racks, and equipment installed where the supply receptacle is not itself GFCI protected.

Frequently asked questions

How are these numbered against the standard rack mount units?
The GFCI units carry a GF suffix, so RM-120-GF is the ground fault version of RM 120.
Where is the GFCI fitted?
On the end of the power cord, as a plug. The chassis is the same 19 inch 1U unit, and the front panel carries the circuit breaker and the rocker switch.
Can outlets be on both the front and the rear?
Yes. RM-280-GF and RM-290-GF are built with eight outlets on the rear and six on the front. Front only and rear only are also standard.
