Brooks Rack Mount Units with Surge Protection are 19 inch 1U power distribution units with surge suppression built in, ETL certified to UL 1449 Third Edition. Six and eight outlet rear-facing builds are cataloged in 15 amp and 20 amp.

- Surge suppression, rated at 650 joules, and the outlets face the rear on every cataloged RMS model. RM units are available with outlets on the front, the rear, or both, and carry no surge protection.
