Typical applications
Large Channel units are specified when the receptacle will not fit anything smaller: twist-lock outlets, 30 amp service, and equipment that needs a locking connection rather than a straight blade.
Frequently asked questions
- Can a 30 amp unit take 15 or 20 amp outlets?
- Yes. We publish 30 amp units with 15 amp and 20 amp outlets fitted. Say which receptacle you need when you ask.
