Our hospital grade units are for non-patient-care areas. Do not use Relocatable Power Taps in general patient care or critical patient care areas.
Every unit we build is internally tested for continuity at full voltage before it ships. Hospital grade units are also hipot and ground bond tested. This is our own testing, performed in-house. It is not certified by a third party.

Frequently asked questions
- Are these units medical electrical equipment?
- No. They are relocatable power taps, listed to UL 1363, the standard for relocatable power taps. UL 60601-1 covers medical electrical equipment; these units are not listed to it, and we publish no leakage current figure for them.
